As a father and semi-clean conscious individual having a good vacuum is vital to our household running properly and cleanly. Pre-baby we bought a few robot vacs just to keep the dust down and the house a little cleaner than it had been historically. At the time robot vacs were about 5-6 years old so they were getting some decent features. We also didn't know that baby #1 would be just around the corner. Amazingly, we got lucky and bought the best robot vacuum for families!

The Ecovacs OZMO 937 Robot Vacuum has been perfect for so many reasons. First, durability as our little guy likes you ride it, flip it over, drag it around, and whatever else you can possibly imagine. It has a few scratches and bumps here and there, but it still performs just as well as the first day we turned it on.

There were two main reasons we went with this vacuum. First, it had a map and we wanted that so we could ensure it didn't go under our furniture and get stuck like our other vac was doing at the time. Second, it has a mop feature which is amazing for keeping our kitchen and entry way clean and sanitary. What we have found out is there were a ton more reasons this vac was the right one for us.

When it comes to robot vacuums no price is too high in my opinion. They are an amazing invention that helps keep our house clean and tidy. It saves us time, keeps dust and dander down, entertains our son, and doesn't disrupt any part of our day because they run at 3am (they can do this because they are so quiet, but more on that later). At $399 (as of 11/2/2020) this unit lands in the middle of the price spectrum. With the features it comes with I'd say it is a huge bargain. Also, $399 is the lowest price I've seen this item sell at in quite a long time so Ecovacs are starting to zero in on the appropriate price point for the unit. When it comes to bang for your buck I give this unit a 9 out of 10!

I spoke to this above and wanted to write about this in more detail. Our son really does try to beat this robot vacuum up. He sits on it, flips it over, drags it around by the handle and the mapping laser, and generally does whatever he can to ensure it doesn't last long. Yet, it is still running like new with just a few scratches on it. I would absolutely purchase this unit again. 10 out of 10 for durability.

This was the second robot vacuum that we purchased and the first, we thought, was pretty quiet. Then we got the OZMO and we were blown away by how quiet it was. This is the reason we run the vac at 3am. The other robot vacuum we would run at 10am after we left for work because it was too loud to run while we were trying to sleep. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give this an 8 out of 10.

The mapping tool has taken a little time to figure out, but now that we have had the unit a while I've got all the features figured out. In addition, Ecovacs took a little while to fix some bugs and really hone in on the end-user experience. I'd say the app is now a 6 out of 10.

Extra Parts

We now own two robot vacuums. The first vacuum we bought did not come with parts, but the Ecovac OZMO did! After doing some research I found that parts are not cheap and the fact that this unit comes with

The Ecovacs OZO 937 is an awesome robot vacuum that does so many things so very well. Overall, I'd say this is one of the better bang for your buck vac. With the mapping and mopping features, quiet while running, and overall durability this really is a vac you can have around for a long time. Click the link below to check it out on Amazon.
