Site Net Worth - June 2021

By now you all know why I started The Saving Dude and what we are trying to accomplish. Our monthly net worth reports are how we track progress and growth over time.

June 2021 was another month. Some positive momentum on the financial front and negative momentum on the traffic front. Eventually we will put it all together.

This past month we were offered money to write an article! While I have considered myself a "professional" writer already, this is really a thing now. It's not a lot, but it is officially another revenue stream and opportunity for me to branch out into other endeavors related to blogging.

Here is a quick list of what we are worked on in June with updates:

1. Create a better cadence for social posting (and potentially add more to our stories) - consistency is key and we presently lack that, building out a cadence further in advance will help

2. Mix up our content types - we had a good June in this regard

1. Get the site Alexa score down below 500k - had a setback in June

2. Have one month where I write over 15 articles - corrected course in June

3. Make more than $50/month from affiliate partners - July should be our first month above this figure
